I was reminded recently, by a special friend of mine, of a project I did nearly 2 and half years ago. It was a baby mobile I made for her lovely niece Ruby. Unfortunately the photos I took are not great.
I played around with different textiles and patterns. The letters were handstitched and the beads and butterflies threaded and attached. Unfortunately the photos do not show the lovely royal purple and blue dotted friendship glass ball, which hangs within the middle.
I am hoping that now the mobile is up high that my little friend can enjoy the colours that will scatter across her room when the sun beams hit it.
Above is a sneaky peek at a piece I have been working on recently. At the moment it's a pencil sketch but I may try some colour. Not sure what media it will end up but all will be revealed later...
